Funds Use Regulations

(General rule)
Article 1
Use of funds by the Public Interest Corporation, Japan Academy of Nursing Science (hereafter “the Academy”) is to be conducted in accordance with the Regulations prescribed below.

(Definition of funds)
Article 2
The volunteer organization that was the Japan Academy of Nursing Science (hereafter “former Academy”) was disbanded, and from the surplus assets of the former Academy, 72,926,624 yen (including contribution in kind) was used as funds for establishment of the General Incorporated Association, the Japan Academy of Nursing Science.

(Usage purpose)
Article 3
Academy funds may be used in full or in part for the purpose of conducting business of the Academy as defined in Article 3 of the Academy Constitution.
 2 Use of Academy funds in full or in part in Article 3.1. shall be in accordance with the budget and approved by the Academy General Assembly.

(Reporting)
Article 4
Usage details of funds expenditure based on the budget and the financial status of funds shall be reported in the annual report on income and expenditure to the Councilors meeting and the General Assembly, and approval obtained by the Councilors meeting.

(Amendment or elimination of regulations)
Article 5
Amendment to or elimination of these Regulations requires approval by the Councilors meeting.

Supplementary Provisions
These Regulations take effect from April 1, 2009.

Supplementary Provisions
Amendment of these Regulations takes effect from August 24, 2010.
