The Committee for the Promotion of Young Researchers' Activities, which operates the "JANS Young Researchers' Group," is recruiting area coordinators who are active in the region with the aim of fostering young researchers who will lead the next generation by actively collecting information and exchanging opinions through networking among young researchers.

Recruitment area

• Hokkaido area (2 persons)
• North Kanto area (2 persons)
• Tokai area (1 person)
• Chugoku/Shikoku area (3 persons)
• Kyushu/Okinawa area (2 persons)

2. term of office

In principle, 2 years (with reappointment)

Role

(1) Create and operate a base of activity for the JANS Young People's Society in each area.
(1) Collaborate with other area coordinators to foster a network of casual support for young researchers in each area, including a place where they can gather and find fellow researchers.
(2) The Committee shall mutually elect the Chair, Vice-Chair, General Affairs, and Secretary at the Committee meetings such as the Review Meeting and the Off-Conference Planning Meeting.
(2) Understanding the ideas and needs of young people in each area and sharing information with JANS young people's associations nationwide
(3) Planning and management during academic meetings (young people's salons, off-line meetings, etc.)
(4) Propose a plan to the national JANS young people's association
(5) Proactive information dissemination through the use of mailing lists
(6) Participation in general review meetings and area review meetings
(7) Participation in other activities related to the JANS Young Scholars' Group
(8) In the case of using other expenses, the Chairperson of the Committee for the Promotion of Young Researchers' Activities and the Treasurer shall be consulted for approval prior to the use of the expenses. In the case of consultation, the chairperson will determine the share of expenses at his/her responsibility and discretion.

Application Requirements

Must be an active member of the Japan Academy of Nursing Science
In principle, hold a master's degree or higher.
Must be able to work actively and proactively in the activities of the Young People's Association
Ability to reply to correspondence even during busy times
