Dr. Hiromi Sanada (President of Ishikawa College of Nursing, Professor Emeritus of the University of Tokyo), Past President of the Society (2019-2020), received the Florence Nightingale International Dr. Hiromi Sanada, President of Ishikawa Prefectural College of Nursing and Professor Emeritus of Tokyo University, received the Florence Nightingale International Foundation International Achievement Award at the ICN (International Council of Nurses) General Assembly.
This award, presented biennially by ICN and the Florence Nightingale International Foundation, recognizes nursing professionals who have made an international and significant impact in direct care, education, administration, or research.
We are pleased to announce that we are the first Japanese to receive this award.
