Outline of the Organization and Purpose of Activities

The JANS Young Researchers' Society was established in November 2014 with the Japan Academy of Nursing Science (JANS) as its parent organization, with the aim of contributing to the development of nursing science 20 to 30 years into the future through the independent academic activities of young researchers and exchanges with young researchers in Japan and abroad. When academic and social issues are identified, the activities aim to make diverse proposals to JANS and society, and to assume social responsibility for modern medicine and nursing.

The JANS Young Researchers' Society is managed by the members of the JANS Young Researchers' Activity Promotion Committee and the Area Coordinators. Area coordinators are members who create and manage activity centers for the JANS Young Researchers' Society in each area (i.e., region). They work together with other area coordinators to create a place where young researchers in each area can gather, find fellow researchers, and develop a network where they can easily support each other. The committee members and area coordinators consist of the following members
